Sprcial Consultative Status in ECOSOC
United Nations – Granted in 2013
Yayasan pendidikan Indonesia is an Indonesian non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing education, promoting tolerance, fostering peace, and supporting sustainable national development. In 2013, after three years of application, the Foundation was officially granted consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
This special status allows the Foundation to actively engage with the United Nations system. The Foundation is entitled to appoint official representatives to UN Headquarters in New York and the UN offices in Geneva and Vienna. Its representatives may participate in sessions, conferences, and activities organized by the United Nations, including meetings of ECOSOC, its subsidiary bodies, the General Assembly, and other intergovernmental forums.
As an organization with ECOSOC consultative status, the Foundation serves as a valuable resource for the United Nations, providing expert information and insights on issues within its competence. The Foundation regularly submits written statements to the Economic and Social Council on relevant topics. Its most recent statement focused on Indonesia’s Free Nutritious Meal Program {MBG}

Yayasan pendidikan Indonesia remains committed to bridging grassroots initiatives with global platforms, contributing to policy dialogue at the United Nations while continuing to support meaningful development programs within Indonesia.
