In 2013, after three years of application, the Foundation was officially granted consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This special status allows the Foundation to actively engage with the United Nations system. The Foundation is entitled to appoint official representatives to UN Headquarters in New York and the UN offices in Geneva and Vienna. Its representatives may participate in sessions, conferences, and activities organized by the United Nations, including meetings of ECOSOC, its subsidiary bodies, the General Assembly, and other intergovernmental forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As an organization with ECOSOC consultative status, the Foundation serves as a valuable resource for the United Nations, providing expert information and insights on issues within its competence. The Foundation regularly submits written statements to the Economic and Social Council on relevant topics.
